SECTION 4: FIRST AID MEASURES

4.1 Description of first aid measures


General advice Move out of dangerous area. Place and transport victim in stable
position (lying sideways). Remove contaminated clothing immediately
and dispose of safely.
Inhalation Move to fresh air. Keep patient warm and at rest. Call a physician or
poison control center immediately.
Skin contact Wash off immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Take
off contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. Get medical
attention if irritation develops and persists.
Eye contact Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at
least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5
minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Get medical attention if irritation
develops and persists.
Ingestion Do NOT induce vomiting. Rinse mouth. Call a physician or poison
control center immediately.
4.2 Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed

Risks This product is not a cholinesterase inhibitor.
Treatment Appropriate supportive and symptomatic treatment as indicated by the

7.1 Precautions for safe handling


Advice on safe handling Ensure adequate ventilation. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing.

separately. Wash hands before breaks and immediately after handling
the product. Wash hands immediately after work, if necessary take a
shower. Remove soiled clothing immediately and clean thoroughly
before using again. Garments that cannot be cleaned must be

Requirements for storage Store in original container. Store in a cool, dry place and in such a
areas and containers manner as to prevent cross contamination with other crop protection
products, fertilizers, food, and feed. Store in a place accessible by
authorized persons only. Reacts with galvanised steel or unlined mild
steel to produce hydrogen, a highly flammable gas that could explode.
Protect from frost. Partial crystallization may occur on prolonged storage
below the minimum storage temperature. Freezing will affect the
physical condition but will not damage the material. Thaw and mix
before using.
Advice on common storage Keep away from food, drink and animal feedingstuffs.

should be professionally laundered frequently.
