Course Description:

This course gives students a foundation in robotics principles, covering both theoretical ideas and
useful abilities. In order to get expertise with the numerous parts and technologies utilized in the
industry, students will work hands-on on projects that involve designing, building, and
programming robots.

Students will get a comprehensive grasp of how robots work, how they are managed, and how they
are used in real-world situations through a combination of lectures, hands-on labs, and group
projects. For anyone who have a strong interest in technology, computer science, or engineering,
this course is excellent.

What You'll Learn

• Fundamentals of Robotics: Explore the basics of robotics, including history, key

concepts, and the types of robots used in different industries.
• Mechanical Design: Learn about the components that make up robots, including actuators,
sensors, and structural elements. Gain skills in designing and building robot prototypes.
• Electronics and Control Systems: Understand the role of electronics in robotics,
including circuits, microcontrollers, and power systems. Develop skills in wiring and
controlling robotic systems.
• Programming Robots: Discover how to program robots using popular programming
languages and platforms. Learn to write code that enables robots to perform specific tasks
and make decisions.
• Robotic Vision and Sensors: Explore how robots perceive their environment using
various sensors and cameras. Learn how to integrate and utilize these inputs for
autonomous operation.
• Robotics in Action: Apply your knowledge through practical projects and challenges.
Work on team-based assignments to build and program robots to accomplish real-world
tasks.
Why Robotics Matters

Robotics is a transformative technology with the potential to revolutionize numerous fields, from
manufacturing to healthcare and beyond. Understanding robotics not only opens doors to exciting
career opportunities but also equips you with problem-solving skills and innovative thinking
applicable to a wide range of disciplines.

Course Format: The course includes lectures, hands-on labs, and group projects. Students will
have access to robotics kits and software tools to facilitate their learning. Assessments will include
quizzes, assignments, and a final project where students will design, build, and program their own
robot.
