1.) Lateral Surface Area: The sum of the area of the


lateral faces.

2.) Total Surface Area: The sum of the prism’s lateral


area and the areas of the two bases.

3.) Pyramid: A prism with only one base.

4.) Regular Prism: A pyramid with a regular polygon as


its base.

5.) Lateral Surface Area of a Cylinder: C h or 2πrh


Where C = circumference of the base, r = radius of the base, and h = the height of the
cylinder.
