RESPONSIBILITIES OF PERMIT RECEIVER
✓​ Initiating and completing all applicable sections of the permit to work.

✓​ Supervising the work prescribed in the permit to work to ensure it is conducted in the most
efficient manner.

✓​ Notifying the issuer of work progress and completion, and ensuring that the site is returned to a
safe and operational state.

✓​ Taking adequate care to preserve the permit in good condition.

✓​ Providing and arranging all necessary resources related with performing the work, including
standby- man for confined.

✓​ Revalidation of work permit is required.

✓​ Reviewing, endorsing and issuing the permit to work. For all work permit applications, site visit
is mandatory to enable hazard evaluation and specification of safeguards to avoid accidents.

✓​ Completing the relevant sections of the permit to work.

✓​ Ensuring the participation in the permit to work carefully, plan and conduct work in accordance
with the permit 's requirements.

✓​ Initial gas test before issuing the permit if required.

✓​ Providing shift revalidation and conducting gas testing to ensure that work is safe to proceed.

✓​ Signing off permit that required work has been completed.

✓​ Participation in joint annual auditing of permits to workfiles.

✓​ Review with the issuer the hazards associated with the job
✓​ Remain in the area so that he is readily available if needed. Area means Main plant & salt plant if
he leaves those areas another acceptor must endorse the work permit.

✓​ Visit the job site with the issuer to close the work permit even if the work is not completed.

✓​ Ensure that work starts within two hours.

✓​ Should understand the permit condition covering the work to be done.

✓​ Ensure that the work permit is endorsed by the operation department.

✓​ Post the hard copy in a visible location at the worksite.

✓​ Comply with the work Permit instruction
