General Instructions:

1. All control panels are required to be outside workplace. Control panel must be equipped
for controls of all crane motions independently.
2. All cables shall be neoprene jacketed. These cables shall be provided along with all
accessories/fittings.
3. Festoon type power supply for hoist c/w support arms, C-rails, support clamps, cable
trolleys, end clamps, towing trolleys, towing arms etc for span of 3.2m.
4. Festoon type power supply for end carriage c/w support arm, C-rails, support clamps,
cable trolleys, end clamps, towing trolleys, towing arms etc. for travel length 13.175m.
5. Low voltage control panel consisting of all protection relays and fitted with necessary
contactors.
6. Hoist shall be equipped with load indicator which shall be installed outside the
workplace.
7. All motors shall have built-in brakes which will automatically actuate when power is
switched off.
8. Limit switches shall be provided for each crane motion for added safety. Over hoisting
and over lowering limit switches shall be provided.
9. Rubber buffers for hoist should be provided. Rubber buffers for end carriages should be
provided.
10. Overload thermal protection device for hoisting motors shall be provided.
DOCUMENTS (Hard + Soft Copy)

1. Hoist and End carriages data sheets with quotation for technical assessment.
2. Proof load test certificate.
3. Test certificate for the hoist by the principal.
4. Wire rope and hook test certificate by the principal.
5. Detailed electric wiring diagram.
6. Installation, operation & maintenance manuals.
7. For all documents, the language of description shall be English.
