Full Stack Engineer (Modern Web & AI-Powered Solutions

- MERN Stack, CI/CD, AWS)


Location: [Remote/On-site/Hybrid]

Department: Product & Engineering

Reports To: CTO/Head of Engineering/Product Manager

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to build and scale a customer-facing web
application and internal dashboard. This role will primarily focus on frontend and backend
development using the MERN stack and modern UI frameworks, with a basic understanding of
cloud deployment practices.
The developer will be responsible for implementing user registration, billing, service metering,
and model API integrations — including those built on Python (e.g., RAG pipelines). The
solution is to be productionized in AWS.

Frontend Development:

● HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript


● React.js, Next.js, Redux Toolkit, React Query, React Router, React Flow,
Expo
● Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, Material UI, Framer Motion, JQuery, Axios

Backend Development:

● Node.js, Express.js, FastAPI, Supabase


● REST APIs, GraphQL, WebSocket/Socket.IO
● JWT Authentication, API security practices
● Rate limiting / API throttling tools (e.g., express-rate-limit)

Databases:

● MongoDB, Mongoose, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis


● Prisma, ORM Tools, Amazon S3

Programming Languages:

● JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Shell/Bash


Version Control & Deployment:

● Git, GitHub, Bitbucket Pipelines, GitLab CI, Jenkins


● Vercel, Render, Netlify

Tools & Others:

● VS Code, Figma, Postman, Swagger

Testing:

● Jest, Mocha, Chai, Cypress

Cloud Infrastructure:

● Preferred: AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway,


Route 53, CloudFront, CloudWatch, ECS, IAM, Secrets Manager)
● Optional: Google Cloud

CI/CD & DevOps Tools:

● GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins


● Docker, Terraform, AWS SDK, Bash scripting

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Deployment:

● Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation

Monitoring & Logs:

● AWS CloudWatch, X-Ray, Prometheus, Grafana

AI Components & Integration:

● Google Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock, AWS Lambda, API Gateway


● Integration with Python RAG pipelines, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Weaviate,
Pinecone

Responsibilities:

● Develop and maintain customer-facing websites and internal dashboards (desktop +


mobile compatible)
● Integrate frontend with backend APIs and external AI model APIs
● Ensure optimal UX and responsive design using modern UI frameworks
● Implement authentication, billing workflows, and real-time usage metering
● Write clean, well-documented, modular code with an emphasis on testing
● Set up robust CI/CD pipelines for full-stack applications (GitHub Actions or equivalent)
● Manage AWS-based staging and production environments with security, reliability, and
cost-efficiency
● Automate deployment for MERN-based frontend/backend and Python APIs
● Handle secrets management, IAM roles, SSL, DNS setup (Route 53), and traffic routing
(CloudFront)
● Support containerization and orchestration (Docker, ECS, optional EKS)
● Monitor system performance, logs, and alerts

Required Skills:
● 2+ years of experience with React and Node.js-based full-stack development
● Expertise in UI libraries (Material UI, Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap)
● Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JWT authentication, and API security practices
● Basic cloud deployment knowledge (EC2, Vercel, Render)
● Collaborative and proactive approach when working with DevOps engineers and Python
model teams
