Training policy

INTRODUCTION: The aim of the policy is to make all employees and managers aware that the employing organization is committed to developing staff and organizational capacity in order to improve processes and services provided. PURPOSE: The organization is committed at creation of a learning culture that builds multidisciplinary teams that ensured each employee is valued for contribution they make for organizational prosperity. Objective To enhance individual employees skills and capabilities and ensure optimum potential. SCOPE: The training policy applies to all employees of the organization, covering internal and external training and development opportunities. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY Employer: The employer undertakes to provide a broad range of education, training and development opportunities that encourage continuous professional development and lifelong learning. Team leaders: Declared responsibility to support staff in identification of training and development needs and ensure that solutions are offered. Commitment to review on a regular basis training and development needs in relation to the role. Employee: Staff made to take ownership of any learning relevant to their current roles and responsibilities. PROCEDURE: Given below are the procedures for training for all employees. And all queries in difference with this policy is to be addressed to the HR department. On identification of the training needs by the HR and the HOD, employees will be put through the following training as required. Technical Training

The employees who are below average in performance will be put through the skill enhancement programme in-house to enable the employees to hone their skills sets and set higher standards in performances. Employees who have attained optimum skills in a particular section and have shown the potential for multi-skilling will be put through the Training to upgrade their existing skills and to acquire new skill sets necessary for multi-skilling. Behavioural Training On identification of the Employees behavioural needs they will be given appropriate training. This training may be in-house by the HR personnel or through outsourced professional faculty, as the need arises. TRAINING EVALUATION All employees who undergo training will be evaluated before and after their training to check the employees and the training modules effectiveness. This detail will be recorded in the prescribed format.
