On behalf of the Beard of Governors of Rift Valley Institute of Science and Technology (RVIST), I am pleased to inform you that your application to join this institute has been successful. You have been offered admission in the Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Power Option) Module I course of One year. Reporting date is 5th September 2011. Failure to report within FIVE DAYS from the above date, it will be deemed that you have not accepted the offer. Registration will be done from 8:00am. to 5:00pm working days. FEES: College fees will be paid strictly as per the fee schedule attached to this letter. Fees may be changed in the course of your studies without consultation COLLEGE- RULES AND REGULATIONS: Ail students are expended to read, understand and obey the attached rates and regulations and to sign the declaration contained in the student's particulars form. The medical form attached must be filled properly in a recognized Government hospital PERSONAL EFFECTS: All students should bring their own personal effects including two blankets, two bed sheets, pillow case, towel, toiletries, ordinary leather shoes, adequate clothing, a plate, spoon, folk, cup, table knife and basin/bucket for storing water. The college will provide a bed and a mattress. LUNCH: Every admitted student will take lunch he or she pay for it. GAMES KITS: Ail students should bring 3 pair of rubber shoes. In addition, the men should bring a red T-shirt and a red pair of shorts. The ladies should bring light blue T-shirt, bloomers and wraparound. BOARDING FACILITIES: Our boarding facilities are limited and will be allocated or: a first-come first-served basis. REGISTRATION: Students will be registered only when they meet the conditions stated in this, letter and in all attached schedules. In addition, they must bring 1.Two (2) passport size photographs, 2.Original and 2 copies of academic certificates. 3.National Identity card,

4.Ksh.500/= or a receipt for 500/= application fee, 5.Birth Certificate.
