The presentation discusses the process and components involved in reverse osmosis water treatment. It describes the pre-treatment, membrane filtration, and post-treatment stages as well as flushing, dosing, and safety procedures.

Manual flushing is done before starting the RO plant to drain biocide from the membranes. It involves opening various valves to pass raw water through the system for 20 minutes.

The design parameters discussed include flow rates, pressures, recovery rates for the 1st and 2nd passes of the RO system on pages 10-12.

NOTE:
Before start up the RO plant 20 minutes Manual Flushing of 1st pass will be done To Drain the BIOCIDE From Membranes. For Flushing This Procedure Will Be followed. 1. Open The start Menu and select Manual command. 2. Open the Rejection valve of solenoid valve. 3. Open the inlet valve of solenoid valve. 4. Open the Valve #2 of MMF A/B. 5. Open the valve #1of MMF A/B. 6. After flushing reverse procedure will be followed and start the plant on AUTO or MANUAL mode. Green Thick Lines Show the Passing Way of Raw Water During Flushing.

All water will be drain in effluent pit during flushing.

NOTE:
Before start up the RO plant 20 minutes Manual Flushing of 2nd pass will be done to flush the Membranes.1st pass will be in service and its permeate will taken in buffer tank to flush the Membranes of 2nd pass. For Flushing This Procedure Will Be followed. 1. Open The start Menu and select Manual command. 2. Open the Rejection valve of solenoid valve from PLC. 3. Open the inlet valve of solenoid valve form PLC. 4. Select the Pump #1 or 2 from PLC. 5. After flushing reverse procedure will be followed and start the plant on AUTO or MANUAL mode. 6. Green Thick Lines Show the Passing Way of Raw Water During Flushing.
