Deconstructivism Architecture

Deconstructivism is an architectural movement that began in the late 1980s. It is characterized by fragmentation and a controlled chaos in building designs. Key features include exploding architectural forms into loose collections of related fragments and destroying dominance of right angles. Prominent deconstructivist architects included Zaha Hadid, Frank Gehry, Daniel Libeskind, and Rem Koolhaas. Their buildings used unique fragmented and irregular shapes that challenged conventional design approaches.
