• The researchers used appropriate statistical tools to analyse the data gathered. The researchers utilized
the following:
1. Weighted mean. It is used to determine the importance and effects of technology on reading skills of the
Senior High School students. The proponents set the assigned weight for each option and the scale that
determined the possible responses, as follows:

STATISTICAL TREATMENT

• Ranking. It is the relationship between a set of

ranked higher than, ranked lower than and
ranked equal to the second. It is commonly
used or requires non parametric statistics.
