 It is the process of identifying KCPs
(Knowledge, Conscience and Practices)
for each phase of the agricultural cycle
to each of the stages of life.

 It is one of the parts of contextualization

where in IKSPs and SUB-IKSPs will be
stated into Objectives on the 3 domains of
learning.
3 DOMAINS OF LEARNING

1. Cognitive – focusing in the IP knowledge on

the development of the child.

2. Affective – focusing in the IP conscience,

values, ethics and morals to the
development of the child.

3. Psychomotor - focusing in the IP

practices/actions to be developed in the
child.

What is a community competency?

 It is a knowledge, values, skills (KCPs) present

in the community that needs to be taught,
learned and developed by the pupils/
students.
 It is the process of constructing learning
objective for community competency
suited to the learners based on the KCP
(Knowledge, Conscience and Practices)

 Community competency will be combined

to the national competency to come up
with an indigenized competency or
learning objectives.

Community Curriculum

Adhere the importance of
og-ogfo.

Practices:
Demonstrate the skills in
counting palays by bundles (e.g.
singay, sin-iting)
 Identify Main IKSP and Sub-IKSP
 Estimate the date or time frame of the agricultural
stage based from the sub IKSP
 Identify the IP child age or life stage of the learners
 Copy the 3 domain objectives made from the
spiraling
 Construct the community competency which is
suited to the national competency and also the
time frame of the agricultural stage.
