Significance of the study
Business Establishments – Public markets, eateries, restaurants, and other establishments that
experience the pestilence of housefly will benefit this study by helping control the growing
population of housefly through the use of natural insecticide.
Community - It will help in slowing down the spreading of houseflies in the community.
Department of Health - This study can help the DOH's fight against housefly diseases (such as
cholera, diarrhea, and fever). They can also get informations in creating a new product that can
fight the said diseases.
Home Owners - They will have the knowledge of using safer insecticide
Researchers – Tis will benefit the researchers in getting knowledge and skills in
handling specimens, following protocols, gathering, analyzing and interpreting
data. Researchers could also gather knowledge about the different ways of
extraction about the chemical components of Oregano leaves and the
application of extracts during the experiment.
