Bangalore at Koramangala in Dec
2007.

membership to the program.

 Members can enjoy various benefits including power points on all


shopping, the customers get discount on the points they having in their
membership card.

 Exclusive offers on every day purchases and advance intimation of


promotions at the hypermarket.
 Services provided by the sales staff is not
good enough.

“I was charged Rs. 20 as parking fee. Now I can't understand why.
Especially when I feel they should be bending over backwards to have me
patronize their store. Again, more so, 'cos just a few blocks away is Big
Bazaar which has zero parking charges. Star Bazaar must realise that
their promise of 'quality services at the lowest prices' requires them to
not charge a genuine buyer like me“

 Star Bazaar, Bangalore is located in
Koramangala, Spread across approximately

 providing spacious ambience with ample parking
facilities (some 300 slots) .
 The people live in and around Koramangala are
with the right demographic or lifestyle what
they are targeting.
 But their location strategy has not worked as
they are expecting because of the presence of
Big Bazaar, one of its rival in organized retail.
 As far as work culture is concerned they don’t
have a strong work culture.
 They don’t have any additional discount
schemes for their employees
 More over the employees do not greet the
customers.
 Also the knowledge of the employees is not
up to the mark because they were not able to
give complete information about a product.

When we went to the Star Bazaar, we see many of
their selves are empty. Which is should not be done
