USAID is helping address Pakistan's electricity shortages by adding over 1,200 MW of power to the grid, enough for over 2 million households. USAID also uses partnerships to help Pakistanis improve their livelihoods and boost the private sector. For example, farmers learned to improve potato quality for PepsiCo and over 6,000 farmers increased milk yields working with Nestle. USAID has also trained over 70,000 female entrepreneurs, increasing their annual earnings by $155 on average.
