Dependence
A variable that depends on one or more other variables.
Dependence may be defines as any relationship between two
Variables which allows the prediction of change in the other.

For example :
 The cost of 200 bolts depends upon the price per hundred.
If represents cost and represents the price of 100 bolts, then what is the cost of 200
bolts?
Answer:
We can expressed as follows :  𝐶 =2 𝑝
From the example C is called the DEPENDENT VARIABLE and p we called it as
INDEPENDENT VARIABLE.

We call C as Dependent Variable because its value depends upon
the changing value of p.
And independent Variable is p because a variable in an equation
that may have its value freely chosen without considering values
of any other variable
