that the LCI or the Laguna Copperplate words was

Postma also studied the ancient writings also known
as Palepgrapher and it is one of the best field in
Asia.

is also a local historian. Together with the Pila
Historical Society Foundation, they challenged the
assertions of Antoon Postma’s about the Laguna
Copperplate Inscription. Jaime Tiongson wrote a
book entitled “Ang Saysay ng Inskripsyon sa
Binatbat na Tanso ng Laguna” and it is about the
significance of this Copperplate Inscription found in
Laguna
MICHAEL CHARLESTON “XIAO” BRIONES CHUA
 Michael Charleston “Xiao” Briones Chua is a historian, academic,
and television personality. He is a Ph. D. Candidate in
Anthropology in University of Philippines Diliman and also
currently a professional lecturer at De La Salle University under the
History Department. He is acknowledge by his academic works in
Philippines history and known by many people because of his
numerous appearances on the Philippines Television as a
ComentatorCommentator on historical topics. Chua also have his
own segment in Public Television called “Xiao Time".
 For him, the culture is the key to unity looking back in our pre-
colonial era and it should be followed and adapted by the current
generation of Filipinos. “We use culture as a basis for our unity”
-Xiao Chua. He discussed the that the the spread of Filipino beliefs
and ancestral traditions started with boats and expanded through the
bodies of water given the idea that Philippines is mostly surrounded
with bodies of water based on its archipelagic structures.
