Hyper and Intertext Report

Hypertext and intertext both involve linking texts together, though they differ in their methods of doing so. Specifically, hypertext links texts electronically using hyperlinks, while intertext links texts as an inherent quality by shaping a text's meaning through references to other related works. Additionally, both are important forms of communication between authors and readers by allowing texts to be understood in relation and reference to other texts.
