INDUCED ABORTION
The termination of pregnancy using drugs or
surgical intervention after implantation and
before the embryo or fetus has become
independently viable.
Abortion type by trimester
FIRST TRIMESTER :
MEDICAL ABORTION
Is performed through taking two medications
in pill form: Mifepristone (mifeprex) and
Misoprostol (Cytotec).
Can be use up to 10th week of pregnancy.
