Modal verbs are auxiliary verbs that we use to express an
opinion about whether something is probable or possible. We
also use them when talking about ability, asking permission, or
making a request.

First conditional

We use the first conditional to talk about future


possibility and things which are generally true.
First conditional
Conditional sentences have two parts: the if clause and the main
clause. The main clause describes the result of the situation in the if
clause.

if + present simple, ... will + infinitive


If it rains, I won't go to the park.
If I study today, I'll go to the party tonight.
If I have enough money, I'll buy some new shoes.

She'll be late if the train is delayed.


She'll miss the bus if she doesn't leave soon.
