Deployment Scenario

Deployment Scenario

 The deployment scenario shown in the next slide is for

an installation having SAP Business One and Savant
WMS instances at different locations.

 The integration between the two instances happen in an

asynchronous manner wherein it is not mandatory for
SAP Business One and Savant servers to be on static
public IP.

 Only the integration database needs to be on static IP

since the warehouses and the head office push and pull
data from this database

www.citixsys.com www.partners.citixsys.com
Stock Adjustments

 No direct processing of goods receipt and goods issue

inventory transactions allowed in SAP Business One
for warehouses which are integrated to WMS

Stock Transfer
 Inventory transfer within warehouses is done through the
Stock Transfer Order (STO) in SAP Business One
 When the status of the STO is changed to released, a ST
sales order is automatically created in WMS of the source
warehouse
 When the products in the sales order are picked and
shipped, a ST purchase order is automatically created in
the destination warehouse
 These products can then be received in the destination
warehouse
 Once the goods are received in the destination
warehouse, an Inventory Transfer document is
automatically created in SAP Business One
