Eccentric shaft
For 2- and 4-cylinder models ( SP4HF/ LF & SP4HN/ LN) the balancing
weight is fixed with screws to the shaft during the assembling phase.
Crankshaft
For 4-cylinder ( SP4H / SP4L) , SP6 & SP8 models, the weights are drawn
directly in the shaft cast iron as a solid body.

OIL FILTER
All models with forced lubrication includes the oil filter
It is placed in the suction side of compressor on the bottom of the oil crankcase so that it could be easily handled from outside.
The filter casing of models SP4HF/LF is made of a rolled sheet of stainless steel that contains an internal spring to reinforce the filter
itself avoiding possible implosions of the wire mesh when it is occluded.
The filter SP4/6/8 models is made with a 100 μm thick sheet of stainless steel. For these compressors the filter stiffening is obtained by
a drilled coaxial cylinder made of steel, through whose holes the oil flows.
In the both of the cases the filter cap has a magnetic pin to retain any impurities that may pass through the mesh.
If the oil is particularly dirty the filter will occlude and the gear pump won’t mantain the necessary pressure for the proper working of
compressor.

SUCTION FILTER
2- and 4-cylinder models SP4HN/SP4LN SP4HF/SPLF are equipped with suction filter
which can be inspected and cleaned only dismounting the suction shut-off valve
For 6- and 8-cylinder models it is necessary to disassemble also the suction cover to
check the filter status. The filter is locked in its seat through a SEEGER ring and
it’s fixed to the cover with a screw
