OUTLINE
 INTRODUCTION

 AIM ANDE OBJECTIVES

 MONITORING SYSTEM

 CCTV(CLOSE CIRCUIT TELEVISION)

 REFERENCES
INTRODUCTION

• Closed-circuit television (CCTV), also

known as video surveillance, is the use of
video cameras to transmit a signal to a
specific place, on a limited set of monitors
• Monitoring systems are responsible for
controlling the technology used by a
company in order to analyze their
operation and performance, and to detect
and alert about possible errors.
INTRODUCTION

• A good monitoring system is able to monitor

devices, infrastructures, applications, services,
and even business processes.
• Though almost all video cameras fit this
definition, the term is most often applied to
those used for surveillance in areas that may
need monitoring such as banks, stores, and other
areas where security is needed
AIM AND OBJECTIVES
The aim of this research is to discuss about CCTY and monitoring system

 To enlightenment on the importance of CCTV and monitoring system.

 To determine the various types of CCTV and monitoring systems

MONITORING SYSTEM

IMPORTANCE OF MONITORING SYSTEM

• Hardware improvement

• Problem detector

• Improves company image

COMMON FETURES OF A GOOD

MONITORING SYSTEM
• Analysis in real time

• System alert

• Graphics visualization

• Production of report

• Availability of record
CCTV(close circuit television)

• TYPES OF CCTV
 Internal and External Dome Camera
The dome camera is one most commonly used for indoor and
outdoor security and surveillance.
Benefits
The shape of the camera makes it difficult for onlookers to tell
which way the camera is facing, which is a strong piece of design,
deterring criminals by creating an air of uncertainty
• Ease of installation
• Vandal-resistant features
• IR night vision
CCTV(close circuit television)
 BULLET CAMERA
 Bullet cameras are long and cylindrical in shape and are ideal for outdoor use.

• Their strengths lie specifically in applications which require long distance

viewing.
• Installed within protective casings, the cameras are shielded against dust, dirt and
other natural elements.
• IR night vision

• Compact size aids installation

• High-quality image resolution

 C-MOUNT CAMERA
• Coming with detachable lenses, C-mount cameras allow for simple lens changes
to fit different applications.

• Effective for indoor use

• Bulky size makes them noticeable (which acts as a deterrent)
CCTV(close circuit television)
 Other cctv types include
• Day/Night Camera

• PTZ Pan Tilt & Zoom Camera ETC.

Factors to consider when making choice of cctv

• The correct lense
• The correct sensor
• The correct output resolution
Benefits of installing CCTV in your homes
• Insurance deduction
• Visual crime deterrent
• Monitoring of property
• Criminal densification
• Requires less maintenance
