Introduction
“Restaurant Management Website" is a web developing. This system is
developed to automate day to day activity of a restaurant.
This system is developed to provide service facility to restaurant and
also to the customer.
This restaurant management system can be used by employees in a
restaurant to handle the
clients, their orders and can help them easily find free tables or place
orders.
Literature review

1.According to Sheryl E. Kimes (2011), his study found that perceived control and
convenience associated with the online food ordering services managing restaurant digitally
were important for both users and non-users. Non-
users need more personal attention and also had high uncertainty towards use of early
technologies. He found that using digitalized restaurant management system get rid of lots of
problem.
2.Ashoutoshbhargve(2013) said that Food panda Kan online food ordering apps
has been launched in the Indian market since May 2012.
Food panda first major move was acquisition of Tasty Khanna, which was started in Pune In
year 2007.
With acquisition of Tasty Khanna and JUST EAT, it is now available in over 200 cities and
delivery partner with over 12,000 restaurants.
Statement of problems
Busy day of people schedule and value of time become important day
by day so Smart Restaurant handle the system as booking and ordering
by digitally which become save manpower and time of staff of hotel.
Since it works digitally, it will reduce the wastage of time and improve
the management system of the restaurant and working behavior of the
company.
General Objective
The aim is to develop a reliable and sustainable system that will
assist the restaurant by reducing the work of staff, waiters, and also
to increase customer satisfaction and also design and
Implementation of a computerized Restaurant Management
Information System.
Specific Objective
To facilitate accurate processing and delivery of the order to customers.
To create and manage an efficient database for storing, retrieval, and updating
customer needs and order details.
To provide the customers with all the different categories of available products
that they can choose and select from.
Pay employee’s salary, adjust product’s cost and add/remove menus.
Allow customer to book reservation anytime and anywhere.
Get feedback from the customer and give tips to waiters and update the system as
well.
To record the most frequently ordered food and focus on it to deliver efficiently.
To determine how the system can lead the organization towards better decision
making and building a competitive advantage over its competitors.
System methodology
Data collection
In this project the first task we will do is gathering information all about
restaurant management and working principles.
Design Procedures
1.Discover key user
Ask ourselves a questions like:
Who will use this web app?
 What goals do our users have?
 What are our main organizational goals with this web app?
2. Define our solutions
Generate ideas and use brainstorming techniques to ideate web app
features and elements that will address our users’ most urgent needs.
3. Build the project
After define the solution we get into the process of developing the
system
4. Launch and test
The final process for our project is test frequently and launch it.
Significance of the project
The project is primarily aimed at :
increasing efficiency in operation
reducing time and running costs
monitoring the recording of the activities
total administration in restaurants by introducing a computerized restaurant
management system.
Constraints and Applicable code
There are some design constraints we faced to prepare this project
those are:
 Cannot get enough literature review about restaurant management
system
To broad our project scope we must know the overall working
principle of huge restaurant
Standard Used
Our project has the following standards and guidelines that rules the
working behaviors of our restaurant management system.
It must work on the best perspective of huge restaurant that handle
so many activities.
Must to add and remove item to order.
Must to add and remove table reservation.
Must to add and remove menu items.
Generate bills.
Manage payment of bills.
Scope Of the Study
The project work is narrowed down to Restaurant. It deals with the design, documentation, and
implementation of a computerized restaurant management information system. The program will
concentrate on keeping records of the total management activities. Customers will also be able to
register view product menus and be able to have a visual confirmation that the order was placed
correctly. The other thing included is Book reservation and pay fees for employee,order food online.
