Rtf:
Rich text format (RTF) is a file format that enables
exchanging text files between different word processing
programs.
RTF files contain both configuration information and the
actual text of the document.
A file with the .RTF file extension is a Rich Text Format
file.
While a normal text file stores only plain text,
RTF files can include extra information about font style,
formatting, images, and more.

RIFF:
The Resource Interchange File Format (RIFF) is a
generic file container format for storing data in
tagged chunks. It is primarily used to store
multimedia such as sound and video, though it
may also be used to store any arbitrary data.
