    We are the Children’s ministry


    and today we will tell you a story
    about how God can break down any
    walls in your battles as long as you
    keep praising Him and following His
    instructions.
    Joshua 1:3-9
    New King James Version
    3 Every place that the sole of your foot will
    tread upon I have given you, as I said to
    Moses. 4 From the wilderness and this
    Lebanon as far as the great river, the River
    Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and to
    the Great Sea toward the going down of the
    sun, shall be your territory.
    Joshua 1:3-9

    5 No man shall be able to stand before you all
    the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I
    will be with you. I will not leave you nor
    forsake you. 6 Be strong and of good courage,
    for to this people you shall divide as an
    inheritance the land which I swore to their
    fathers to give them.

    7 Only be strong and very courageous, that
    you may observe to do according to all the
    law which Moses My servant commanded
    you; do not turn from it to the right hand or
    to the left, that you may prosper wherever
    you go. 8 This Book of the Law shall not
    depart from your mouth, but you shall
    meditate in it day and night,

    that is written in it. For then you will make
    your way prosperous, and then you will have
    good success. 9 Have I not commanded you?
    Be strong and of good courage; do not be
    afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your
    God is with you wherever you go.”
    Hello, we are new in the city and
    need a place to stay.
    Can we stay at your home?
    Okay, but you have to hide in the
    rooftop. They are looking for you!
    Israelite spies are among us! Show
    us the spies and we will get them
    out of the city.
    Yes, they needed a place to stay, but
    I knew they were Israelites, so I did
    not let them come in. I saw them
    run out of the city gates just as it
    was being shut. I don’t know where
    they are now but if you go now, you
    might be able to catch them.
    Let’s go to the other side of the wall
    and catch those spies!
    You, Israelites, come here and I’ll
    help you hide.
    Why will you help us?
    Don’t you know that we will take
    this city?
    I know that your God is great and that you will
    surely win. Let me help you, but in return, I
    want my family safe.
    You helped us. If you keep our secret, then
    our God will help you!
    Leave the red rope and stay inside your house
    until we come get you. Anyone outside of
    your house will be taken.
    God has given Jericho into our hands. We just
    need to follow His instructions and we will
    surely win!
    All we do is blow our horns in
    praise?
    Yes
    All we do is keep marching forward?
    Yes
    All we do is show everyone God’s
    covenant with us?
    Yes
    Ugh, so many questions, let’s just do
    what God told us to do and go
    where he wants us to go!
    Yes! Let’s go!
