Introduction

Farming is changing with time. New methods have

made the foray into agriculture. Such systems are
revolutionizing the farming scene keeping the concept
of efficiency in mind. One system which is gaining a lot
of positive reviews is irrigation. As a matter of fact, it is
already under application around the world. There are
just a few obstacles with regard to using this system,
one of which is an advanced automated system. Being a
mostly automatic system, skilled labor is understandable
but can still be minimized. An advanced automated
irrigation system is the solution. helps in efficient water
use and reduced power consumption, it is a win-to-win
situation
Objective

• Precision and accuracy: Robotic systems are capable of planting seeds

and watering crops with a high degree of precision, ensuring that each
seed is planted at the ideal depth and spacing and that each plant
receives the appropriate amount of water.

• Enhanced productivity: Since robotic systems are capable of nonstop

operation, planting and watering processes are more effectively carried
out

• They can also operate on terrain that is difficult for human labour or in
adverse weather.

• Cost-effectiveness: Robotic systems can cut down on the requirement

for expensive machinery and labour, saving farmers money.

Problem Statement
• Technical challenges: Developing a robot that can accurately and precisely sow seeds
while moving through the farm can be difficult. The robot must be able to handle a
variety of seed types and sizes, alter its settings accordingly, and work in a variety of
environments.
• Cost: The cost of robotic seed sowing systems can be prohibitively expensive for
small-scale farmers, and the return on investment may be delayed. There is a need
to build affordable and accessible robotic devices that farmers can use on a large
scale.
• Repair and maintenance: Robots require routine maintenance and may encounter
technological challenges that must be addressed immediately. Farmers may require
specialized training in order to maintain and repair the robot, which might be
difficult in rural locations.

Proposed system automation for
Seed Sowing And Irrigation

We developed a simple automated system based on the Arduino platform to simplify the process of
sowing and irrigation for the crop using iot based .
Using the Arduino IDE software, the dosing conditions are programmed into the microcontroller.
The required conditions for the dosing pump to work for the Lettuce plant are:
To check the ph of the soil if the ph of the soil is low motor starts as to indicate the ph level is low I
the soil
After fertilizing the soil the robots drop the seed in specific distance , and helps with irrgation too.

Block diagram of the designed system.

Explanation of block diagram
This Figure 2.1 is a general square chart of Arduino-based ESP8266 IoT module, programmed
water system framework which comprises three sensors which are associated with the controller and
detected qualities from these sensors are sent to the portable application. Figure 3.1 shows the square
graph of the keen water system framework with IoT. Ranchers begin to use different observing and
controlled framework to expand the yield with the assistance of mechanization of rural parameters
like temperature, mugginess, and soil dampness are checked and control the framework which can
assist the ranchers with improving the yield. This proposed work incorporates an implanted
framework for programmed control of the water systems. This undertaking has a remote sensor
arranged for continuous detection of a water system framework. This framework gives a uniform
and required degree of water for the Automation of the water system framework utilizing IoT rural
homestead and it maintains a strategic distance from water wastage. At the point when the dampness
level in the dirt reaches underneath limit esteem, the framework naturally switches ON the engine.
At the point when the water level arrives at the ordinary level, the engine naturally switches OFF.
The detected parameters and current status of the engine will be shown on the client's android
application.

ARDUINO IDE
 Arduino IDE, where IDE stands for Integrated Development Environment - An official
software introduced by Arduino. cc, which is mainly used for writing, compiling and
uploading the code in almost all Arduino modules/boards.

 The IDE environment mainly contains two basic parts: Editor and Compiler where the
former is used for writing the required code and later is used for compiling and
uploading the code into the given Arduino Module.
