MANAGEMENT
EXHIBITING SYMPTOMS AT HOME

If the child appears to have symptoms


at home, the child must stay at home.

Parents must inform the school


immediately.

The school nurse will provide guidance as


to when the student can return to school.
EXHIBITING SYMPTOMS ON CAMPUS

The child of concern will be sent to


the isolation room for immediate
evaluation by the school nurse.
EXHIBITING SYMPTOMS ON CAMPUS

If the evaluation determines that the


child is at risk, the school will:
- make arrangements for the child to return at home
- move the rest of the class to a separate location
and the class will not have contact with any other
students or staff members
- contact parents/guardians of all children and make
transport arrangement if necessary.
EXHIBITING SYMPTOMS ON CAMPUS

Students and teacher(s) who had


close contact to the suspected student
should not return to school until result
of testing for COVID is known.

Parents must inform the school upon


receiving the test result immediately.
EXHIBITING SYMPTOMS ON CAMPUS
If the child test is positive for COVID, all
students and teacher(s) who had close
contact to the child should quarantine for 7
days.

If the child tested negative for COVID, all


close contacts (students, teachers, and
staff) of the said student should return to
school.
EXHIBITING SYMPTOMS ON CAMPUS

If the child is found to have an illness


but is not COVID, the child may only
return 48 hours after the
disappearance of all symptoms.
CONFIRMED COVID CASES
The school will report the case to
BHERT (Barangay Health Emergency
Response Team)

School Point of Contact (POC) may


be requested to assist DOH in
identifying students who meet the
“close contact” criteria
CONFIRMED COVID CASES
RHU will provide the school with a
COVID-19 Reporting Document for
tracing close contacts

RHU will notify close contacts and


provide quarantine recommendations
CONFIRMED COVID CASES
The school may consider providing COVID-19
letters, drafted by RHU (School Close Contact
Letter), general notification to parents of a
positive case in the classroom

All confirmed contacts (students and staff


members) must quarantine for seven (7) days
prior to returning to school.
