What is Quality

• Quality is the characteristics of a product or service that bear on


its ability to satisfy stated or implied needs.

• The standard of something as measured against other things of


a similar kind; the degree of excellence of something.

Quality Control

Qualıty control ıs ındustrıal technıque or group of technıques by


means of whıch products of unıform acceptable qualıty for
manufacturing.
A system of maintaining standards in manufactured products by
testing a sample of the output against the specification
It goes to inspection by:
• establishing standards for the product or service, based on the
customer needs and requirements.
• ensuring conformance to these standards.

• Quality is every ones job, it includes the worker, officers and


even president of the company.
• The responsibility for quality begins when marketing
determines the customer’s quality and continues until the
product is received by a satisfied customer.

• Total Quality Control (TQC) Total Quality Control is the
organized Kaizen activities involving everyone in the company-
managers and workers- in totally integrated effort toward
improving performance at every level

Quality Assurance (QA)

• The maintenance of a desired level of quality in a service or


product, especially by means of attention to every stage of the
process of delivery or production.
• Qualıty assurance ıs a fullfılment of establıshed qualıty
requirements, ıt includes:
Management of audıt partıcıpants.
• Establishment of the group of inspectors
• Management of employees’s activity
Supervısıon over the audıt process:
• Availability of skilled and competent audit team
• Compliance of work performed with the audit program
