• Occupational Safety and Health is
devoted to the recognition and control
of factors (hazards) in the workplace,
which may cause death, disability,
injury, sickness, or great discomfort and
inefficiency among the workers.

• An occurrence or event that is
unexpected/ unforeseen, unplanned
and unwanted.
