 1. Teknik Leraian
- Teknik yang memecahkan masalah besar kepada bahagian-bahagian kecil supaya
mudah diselesaikan.

- Sejenis teknik yang digunakan oleh komputer untuk mencari maklumat dengan cepat

- Dalam perisiannya, maklumat telah diberikan kepada komponen yang lebih kecil
untuk memudahkan carian.

- Contoh dalam kehidupan : Ibu kamu telah menyusun baju kamu mengikut kategori
seperti baju sekolah, baju tidur, seluar dan sebagainya
 2. Teknik Pengecaman Corak
- Masalah yang telah dileraikan kepada bahagian kecil akan dianalisis untuk mengenal
pasti corak-corak tertentu.

- Membantu menyelesaikan masalah kompleks dengan lebih berkesan.

- Corak-corak tersebut terdiri daripada kesamaan atau ciri-ciri yang sama untuk
masalah yang lebih kecil.

- Contoh: Sistem Keselamatan Telefon Pintar anda dimana hanya cap jari atau kata
laluan yang telah diset sahaja boleh mengakses telefon tersebut.
 3. Teknik Peniskalaan
- Aspek yang kurang penting akan diasingkan dan ditinggalkan dan fokus akan diberi
kepada aspek yang lebih penting dalam menyelesaikan masalah.

- Contoh: Ketika mencari maklumat dengan menggunakan carian Google, komputer

hanya memaparkan maklumat yang penting dan berkaitan berdasarkan kata kunci
carian tersebut.
 3. Teknik Pengitlakan
- Teknik ini melibatkan pembinaan model bagi masalah yang diselesaikan.

- Model boleh berbentuk formula, teknik, peraturan atau langkah bagi menyelesaikan
masalah.

- Model yang dibina boleh digunakan untuk menyelesaikan masalah lain yang hampir
sama.

- Contoh: Mengira isipadu kuboid adalah sama formulanya untuk mengira isipadu
kiub iaitu Panjang x Lebar x Tinggi
