schools to ensure the safety, well-being, and
protection of children.
 Child Protection is the process of protecting
children from harm. This includes protecting
them from physical, emotional and sexual
abuse and neglect.

that outline the school procedure for
identify, responding to and preventing child
abuse and neglect. The policy should be
developed in consultation with the school
community, including teachers, parents and
students.
