THE PLOT
"Inside Out" is about 11-year-old Riley, who moves to a new
city and struggles with her emotions. Inside her mind, Joy,
Sadness, Fear, Anger, and Disgust guide her. Core memories,
linked to specific emotions, shape her personality. When Joy
and Sadness get lost, Riley's emotions become chaotic. The
story shows that all emotions are important for emotional
balance and personal growth.
THE PLOT
The film shows that all emotions, including
sadness, are essential for personal growth and
balance. Joy and Sadness's journey teaches
Riley—and the audience—that feeling a range
of emotions is normal and important.

by George Canseco in 1981, commissioned by First
Lady Imelda Marcos for the inauguration of her
husband, 10th President Ferdinand Marcos,[1] and
