aspect.

what your personality is really like, and who you are
in your private moments as well as in your public
ones.
 The idea to get to know your personality inside out, to
know what you are and what you are not like.

the details and the specifics.

 What do you likes and what you dislikes? Simple,


innocent question but knowing this about yourself
gives you a lot of confidence into who you are. A lot
of people go through life liking what’s popular and
disliking what’s not “cool”.
 Defining your own likes and especially dislikes takes
guts.

Many characteristics are part of
personality and fall into three
categories:
Emotional--related to feelings such as
happiness or sorrow.
Social--the ways that people relate to
others.
Intellectual--the cognitive or mental
abilities.
The way you see yourself, or self-
concept, is influenced by your
experiences, by what people say to you,
and by what you say to yourself. It is
important to have a realistic self-
concept because your views of yourself
influence your life in many different
ways.
Positive messages involve focusing
on the encouraging and positive
messages you receive from people
you trust. You look at your
personality, talents, and skills and
are realistic about them. You have
the confidence to try new things and
to increase your ability to achieve
.
Your self-concept is the picture you have of
yourself. Your self-esteem is the value or
importance you place on yourself. If you like
yourself and have a positive self-concept, you
will have high self-esteem. People who dislike
the picture they have of themselves have to
struggle with low self-esteem. This matters
because self-esteem has a strong influence
on your behavior and your well-being.

by :trying these
Learn to accept praise. (People praise
you because they feel that you really
deserve it.)
Focus on your strengths. (Remind
yourself of the things you do well.)
Accept yourself as you are. (Don’t
compare yourself to others.)

differently in the future.)

(This shows you can accomplish
