 Windows 7 is better than windows vista in terms


of user friendliness, stability and functionality
 It helps you to make the best use of graphic
cards from the different vendors
 Bitlocker is a feature that provides the
encryption for the internal drives in vista

 This is the bare-bone, 32 bits only version of
Windows 7 intended for using in developing
countries, to serve the most basic computing
needs.
 Starter is designed for lightweight, portable
netbooks.
 It will not have the Aero Glass graphical user
interface that is included in all other versions
(except Windows 7 Home Basic).
 Can run three applications at a time.
HOME BASICS

 Home Basic sits somewhere between Starter


and Home Premium. It has all the features of
starter, has ability to run more than three
applications at once.
 It is a 64-bits version.
 It shares the same features as Home Premium
except there are no Aero Glass GUI features.
HOME PREMIUM

 It has all the features of Starter and Home Basic


and then some.
 This is mainstream retail version that nearly all
consumers will be using.
 A step up from Home Basic, Home Premium
includes the Aero GUI and new Windows
navigation features such as Aero Glass, Aero
Backgrounds, Windows Touch etc.

72 HOURS.
• YOU CAN'T ACCESS FILES OR FOLDERS ON A
COMPUTER RUNNING WINDOWS 7 FROM ANOTHER
COMPUTER. LIKEWISE, WINDOWS 7 CAN'T ACT AS A
TERMINAL SERVER, SO YOU CAN'T CONNECT TO IT BY
USING REMOTE DESKTOP.
