The following five Tribal Nations are members of the Great Plains Tribal Water Alliance (GPTWA):

• Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe

• Oglala Sioux Tribe

• Rosebud Sioux Tribe

• Standing Rock Sioux Tribe

• Lower Brule Sioux Tribe

• Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe

• Yankton Sioux Tribe

Membership is open to all Tribal Nations in the Great Plains Region.
