Subject Masterclasses - February to May 2025

Join us for our spring 2025 Subject Masterclasses - now open for booking! 

These events are a great way to deepen your knowledge of a subject while experiencing what it’s like to study at the University of Cambridge. 

What are Subject Masterclasses?

Masterclasses are either online or in-person.

Each Masterclass includes: 

• Taster sessions delivered by our academic staff 
• The opportunity to ask questions and engage with subject experts 
• An introduction to the Cambridge admissions process 
• Insights into life as a Cambridge student from current undergraduates

Who can attend?

Masterclasses are designed for students in Year 12 (S5 for Scotland, Year 13 for NI, international grade 10 or 11, or equivalent) and mature students. 

UK and International students are welcome to attend.  

In-person Subject Masterclasses

• Sessions take place at the Sidgwick Site, Cambridge (University map).
• Booking is essential. Booking deadlines are listed in the table.
• Cost: £22.00. Funded places are available for eligible students.
• A full timetable and travel advice will be emailed to attendees.

Online Subject Masterclasses

• Online sessions run from 4:15pm to 7:00pm (UK time).
• Sessions are delivered via Zoom.
• Booking is essential and closes the day before the event.
• Cost: £15.00. Funded places are available for eligible students.
