First Accumulating Snow of the Season

A clipper system dropped southeast across the Ohio Valley on Saturday, December 4. This system brought periods of snow to much of the region through the day, with the heaviest snow falling across eastern Indiana, northern Kentucky and far southwest Ohio where widespread 2-3" of snow fell.  Areas further northeast received less snow, with only a few tenths of an inch falling across the Columbus metro.
