In the wake of this weekend’s cold front, Monday, July 1, will be much cooler with temperatures peaking in the upper 70’s and humidity levels so low they are off the chart.

Monday will certainly be the best weather day of the week, as temperatures climb back to the upper 80’s and low 90’s Tuesday and rain chances return each day after.

July 4th forecast is not looking good, as another cold front will likely move across the Bluegrass giving us rain chances throughout the day.  The rain chances continue through each day this coming weekend.  Although rain for July 4th isn’t ideal, as the drought monitor reports, the rain is needed.  Several central Kentucky counties are on the drought map in the dry category.
