The Official Fundraising Organization for Akron Zips Student-Athletes
The Zips Athletic Club was established in 1986 by a group of Zips fans with a mission to help raise funds for the Men’s Basketball program. Over the past four decades, the Zips Athletic Club has supported fundraising initiatives that support the mission of the Akron Athletics Department. The Zips Athletic Club encourages contributions to Sports Enhancement Funds, Scholarship Endowments, and Capital Projects.

The Summit Circle is our highest level of investment for our Zips. Investors in the Summit Circle have made multi-year pledges to support the long-term success of our student-athletes.
