I would not touch Hnry with the foot Pole as this business is not a great tax company to so your tax on. So watch out people that are sole traders that need there tax returns. Regards Jesse.

I am qualified Accountant and we pay Quickbooks Australia for Award Interpreter. They keep making updates which we apply and there is commonly errors with payrates, leave allowance templates. Contact their support team (which are offshore) and are supposed to be "Experts" according to Quickbooks and they are absolutely useless. Multiple times reporting issues which they try to say "It is not error in Quickbooks it is how you set up for employees." but for 8 years that issue wasn't a problem, only when they published changes to the award etc. Hours later you're still dealing with the "Expert" who asks you to click around not knowing what they are doing and your issue remains unresolved for weeks. Save yourself the drama and go with a company that has Australian support.

I have been using Thriday for just over seven months and am rapt with it. Previously I used Xero but was frustrated with the continual increase in pricing. Thriday has saved me heaps of time and stress - it is so well supported. I love being able to take a photo of receipts and then letting Thriday do the work for me.

Absolutely rubbish. I switched to the paying for the App, and having issues ALL OF THE TIME. Cannot view / copy invoices. Even when it does copy the addresses are not the same (from the copy) Was a good App 3 years ago, but now looking for a new invoice creator.

Warning: Avoid Etax if Timely Tax Submission is Important! I’ve been using Etax for years with simple returns, but now that I run a partnership, I regret trusting them with my personal tax return. Etax has repeatedly refused to submit my return, even though I’ve provided all necessary documentation and explanations. This has been ongoing since September 2024 (5 months of delays)! Here’s the issue: After adjusting my income split with my partner (who now has his own job), Etax won’t submit the return because they are unhappy with the income split. They also demanded confirmation from the tax office that our joint return was received, but the tax office won’t provide such confirmation (they just file on receipt). Meanwhile, my partner’s return was processed without issue. The latest excuse is regarding the valuation date for my property, which was two months before the rent payments started. Etax claims this affects my return, even though the sale finalized in the new financial year (next year's tax return). The platform itself is fine, but their customer service and refusal to submit returns have been a nightmare. If you want to avoid potential issues with the tax office over late submissions, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This company’s inefficiency could lead to serious consequences for your taxes!
