The Geo-KOMPSAT is a project in which the Korean government aims to develop the geostationary multi-purpose satellite system and the ground station, based on the experience and accumulated technology for the development of the Cheollian COMS(Communication, Ocean and Meteorological Satellite). In the state-led project, KAI takes part in the development of the bus as well as components thereof.
