About the Training

The training program has been offered thrice annually (spring, fall, and summer sessions) since 2020 to provide formal mentor training to research-intensive faculty. The curriculum is a rigorous national curriculum that uses scenario based small-group discussion to establish tools to offer optimal mentoring to all mentees. The scenarios are supplemented with readings and further discussions of the Crucial Conversations text, providing additional communication skills to effectively maneuver mentor-mentee relationships.

Registration for the spring 2022 and summer 2022 session is now open.
