The Development Law Service is responsible for contributing to and maintaining user-friendly databases of national legislation and international agreements.
The FAOLEX database, for example, is one of the world’s largest online collections of national laws, regulations and policies on food, agriculture and natural resources from more than 200 countries, territories and regional economic integration organizations. It is being constantly updated with an average of 8,000 new entries every year.
These databases are open access and available for anyone to use.
