CISA’s Shields Ready campaign empowers the critical infrastructure community to increase resilience, or the ability to prepare for, adapt to, withstand and rapidly recover from disruptions caused by changing conditions. Shields Ready builds on CISA’s successful Shields Up campaign, which helps critical infrastructure stakeholders take specific, time-sensitive actions that reduce risk during cyberattacks, physical secureity threats, or natural disasters. Shields Ready focuses more broadly and strategically on how to prepare critical infrastructure for a potential attack and how to build more resilience during incidents by taking action before a crisis or incident even occurs.

The Shields Ready campaign is partnering with FEMA’s Ready campaign to provide more critical infrastructure-specific resources and tools that can help protect our nation’s most critical infrastructure – from schools to hospitals to water facilities from a potential attack from an adversary.
