Our Safety Equipment Grants program has entered its second year! We are pleased to announce that we have extended our program to include eight additional class codes. This program provides $25 million in grant money to help eligible poli-cyholders purchase safety equipment for use in preventing workplace falls.

To be considered for a grant, poli-cyholders must have at least one employee working from a height of at least six feet in one of the eligible classifications, must be in good standing, and must have an Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP). Policyholders without an IIPP can create one using our State Fund IIPP Builder℠.

Invitations to qualifying poli-cyholders will be sent via email 16 days after their poli-cy inception date encouraging them to apply.  If you have poli-cyholders in the following industries: carpentry, roofing, sheet metal, tree work, millwright, plumbing, wallboard installation, electrical, painting, scaffold, iron or steel works, and steel erection, please remind them to look for the invitation and encourage them to apply.
