SCAHIP has been one of the NIOSH Ag Health and Safety Centers for nearly 30 years, since 1992. Some of our work is still addressing agricultural problems that have been a concern for much of that time--tractor overturns, roadway crashes, grain engulfment, respiratory disease, suicide, and logging fatalities—while at the same time we press forward into new and emerging issues.

Through our initiatives—surveillance, outreach, evaluation, and center projects—we continue to address new problems and work to be a responsive, innovative, and evolving Center.
