A period of rain will bring wet weather for many on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Rain is expected to spread northward across much of the area on Christmas Eve afternoon and night. The rain should then exit most of the area by noon on Christmas Day. Check out weather.gov/forecastpoints for the specific forecast for your city.
Here are the climate records for Christmas Day at St. Louis, Columbia, and Quincy.
The end of 2024 is quickly approaching so we thought we take a quick look back. Temperatures have been VERY warm this year in St. Louis. In fact, through 12/20, this year is second warmest only to 2012. With warmth forecast next week, 2024 could threaten 2012 for the crown of record warmest year (records date back to 1874).
