Paris France is just one of the many places you can go, with the UH Hilo Center for Global Education and Exchange The first priority and fundamental mission of the Center for Global Education and Exchange (CGEE) is to provide an international education element to the UH Hilo collegiate experience to assure that students are successful as future leaders in the global community. This critical mission is advanced by expanding the global reach of UH Hilo to enrich the campus community by providing international education programs, expanding campus diversity, supporting faculty efforts to globalize curriculum, and providing support for international students on the UH Hilo campus. By providing quality study abroad and student exchange choices, as well as programming for and support of international exchange students on our campus, CGEE fosters the development of the students’ global perspective and helps develop critical workforce skills such as intercultural communication skills and second-language ability. Our mission includes an effort to globalize curriculum through collaboration between UH Hilo faculty and international partner universities.
