There are many risks associated with horticulture production. Pests, weather, disease, and price changes are constant risks to yield and revenue. Crop Insurance can be used to stabilize farm income, increase competitiveness, and enhance the quality of life for farm families.
To help growers learn more about crop insurance, KHC offered a series of webinars and recorded content focused on specialty crops. The series began in September 2021 with the first recorded video and ended with our last live webinar in September 2022. This series helped growers find the right crop insurance for their operations and prepared them to work with a crop insurance agent. Topics included Whole Farm Revenue Protection, record keeping, questions to ask insurance agents, and many more.
